Privacy policy – Advent Calendar: Xmas Journey

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Advent Calendar: Xmas Journey (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Peter Weiss.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Application obtains the information you provide when you download the Application. When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your user name; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use applications from us; (c) information you provide us when you contact us for help.

Automatically Collected Information

I do not operate a separate server to collect gameplay information. Third-party services used by the Application may process information as described below.

The Application has been built with with Corona SDK. Please also refer to their privacy policy.

The current version of the Application uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Google processes information as described in its Privacy Policy.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application uses third-party services that may process personal information. Advertising data is shared with Google AdMob as described below.

Google AdMob may collect and share IP addresses (which can be used to estimate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information to deliver and measure advertising and help prevent fraud. Data handling depends on the platform, SDK configuration and your privacy choices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Automatic Data Collection and Advertising

Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Personalised ads, non-personalised ads and limited ads may involve different data processing. Non-personalised advertising does not mean that no personal data is processed.

Advertising-related information may be transmitted to and processed by Google. You can manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through your device settings. Google explains available controls in its advertising privacy information.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

If you would like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at appsfromdawoodz@gmail.com and we will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at appsfromdawoodz@gmail.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect information provided directly to me. Google is responsible for protecting information processed through its advertising services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

Where required by applicable law, consent is needed before accessing device information or processing data for personalised advertising. Any consent choices presented in the Application and your device’s tracking permissions determine the available advertising options. Refusing personalised advertising does not necessarily prevent all advertising-related data processing.
